"Byz, you listen to the weirdest shit."

I suppose that was the comment that prompted me to start a music blog.  I always love putting my library on shuffle while working and for every, "oh hey I like this" there was an accompanying "what the heck are we listening too?"  What can I say, I have an eclectic taste in music.  There's hardly a genre that I can't pull one song from saying that I love it, and yet a lot of the time it isn't the lead single, or the most popular singer or band.  I love the unknowns and the unheardofs.

Mostly I look for songs with meaning.  I like to imagine that I live in one big musical (maybe that's why I majored in theatre) and so I look for songs that I can relate to my life.  One day I'm going to just break out in song to express my feelings, I swear I'll do it.  And then I'll blog about it of course ;)
